Eva Creations, a Textile Printing house located in Noida, India started its success story in 1988. With already experience in screen printing, embroidery and padding, Digital Textile Printing Machine were a great addition to the business which enabled them to offer high standards of quality and better production speed.
EVA CREATIONS HISTORY
Mr. Ashok Kumar the Co-Founder of Eva Creations started this company in 1988. The journey started with screen-printing and now has reached to a fully functional digital print house. "After working for long with traditional printing methods like screen printing it was time to move to digital printing when the demand for more production and designs increased. It is when I joined my brother Mr. Ashok in this endeavour" Mr. Santosh Kumar, Co-Founder Eva Creations shared with us.
Screen printing process involves creating a screen and using it as a stencil to apply layers of ink on the printing surface. So, for every design a new screen is required to be made. Digital printing is an easier process than screen-printing. In digital printing, the ink gets directly adhered to the fabric. This provides significant saving in both time and money. Mr Santosh goes on and explains, "As the demand increased the feasibility of fulfilling orders with traditional printing methods got difficult. Hence, we decided to go for digital printing solution for meeting this increased demand."
HUNT FOR THE PERFECT PARTNER
A very important factor for a printing house to consider is the ability of the selected partner to fit in well with the existing set-up. Mr Santosh adds, "We make garments for brands like Biba, ITC, Asmara Collection, Anita Dongre, John Player, Abercrombie & Fitch, etc. The quality parameters of these brands are very high and they want production to be high and delivery to be on time. We are happy that we chose ColorJet as our partner."
"When we initially thought of getting a digital printing setup, we conducted a lot of research and approached a lot of companies. After a comprehensive search we found ColorJet to be the best fit for our business which can give us the best quality at a high production rate", adds Mr. Santosh.
Mr. Santosh explains "Vastrajet Machine has a unique quality, that it can accommodate any fabric of various weights from light weight to heavier weights. There are no issues of colour or quality and we get the best result and satisfactory result. We initially thought of getting only one machine but looking at the performance we bought another machine within 6 months."
He also mentions," Because of the volume that we are doing, it's very important that the machines are easy to use. The ColorJet's engineer comes in, and after a couple of days of training, they are already printing orders.
In addition, that is critical for us for efficiency and cost. Now it has been 5 years with Vastrajet, we did encounter some problems but the response has been very good and the resolutions were provided very promptly. The reason I have ColorJet is that, the results of its prints are excellent, colour consistency, quality is great and even the production is commendable."
